Ideas Needed

I am not sure how many in the blogsphere had even a glance at my blog. Anyway it doesn't hurt to have a shot.
I was asked by my friend to write an essay on "IT in the year 2010". Before i write my essay on the topic, i would like to garner other's idea as well so that i have diverse ideas.
So guys please pour your ideas.
No i don't want essays in the comment section. Just pointers like
1. Working from home.
2. Contract workers rather than full time employees.
3. Worker's union.
or just what the essay shall focus.

Update: I wud b starting the essay on sunday afternoon. Suggestions are welcome till then.
